400,000 Syrians have been killed in the Syrian war
700,000 Rohinga Muslims have fled their homes in Myanmar
Over 100 and over 14,000 Palestinians have been killed and injured in the most recent peaceful uprising
Thousands are families have been split apart due to the racist biases and incompetencies of the Trump administration.
The list goes on and on and on from painful stories across the world.
So why then do we focus on Chilean miners who were stuck in a mine? The Humboldt Broncos bus crash victims and the Thai soccer team players that were stuck in cave?
Is it because we like real life scenarios that emulate movies?
Or is it because we cannot wrap our heads around the injustices that take place every day around the world?
Thank you for your time and have a wonderful day!
